KT CL 03 : SOUTHERN DISCOVER TOURS -14 Days

The characteristic of Mekong Delta is river life. Daily activities of local people are associated on the Mekong delta with boat as main mean of the transportation. After arrival in Cai Be, a boat will take you to the floating market busy with buyers and sellers bargaining and exchanging their goods from the boats....

Day 1: HOCHIMINH CITY
Arrival. Meeting at the airport, transfer to the hotel. Overnight  in Saigon

Day 2: TAY NINH - CU CHI TUNNELS ( B, L,  )
An unforgettable excursion to Cao Dai Holy See in Tay Ninh with stopover at Tan Phuoc pottery village. Attend the noon -tide religious ceremony at Cao Dai Great Temple . Lunch. On the way back, visit to remarkable Cu Chi underground tunnels. Return to Saigon . and overnight in Saigon .

Day 3: MYTHO ( B, L,  )
AM: Transfer to MyTho with stop-over at Long An museum see the artifacts of ancient Oc Eo culture. Cross Mekong river by boat. Row-boat along small creeks to mekong river estuary. Motorized boat ride to Con Phung ( Phoenix island ). See the manufacture handicraft made from coconut trees.
PM: Boat ride along natural creeks and villages in Mytho. Visit orchards, bee-keeping farm, taste natural honey & honey wine, enjoy tropical fruit, enjoy the traditional folk song of the Mekong Delta area. See round a distillery and coconut candy production process. Taste cabdy and coconut pulp. Check-in hotel. Overnight  at Mytho.

Day 4: CAIBE – CHAU DOC  ( B, L,  )
Transfer to Cai Be. Boat cruise to visit bustling floating market and visit to lush orchard islet, bonsai garden and local homes. Lunch at the garden. Say goodbye Can Tho city, drive to Chau Doc. On the way to Chau Doc, you can stop to take photos on the local market and mountains. Your last destination of the day is  Tra Su Sanctuary - the stocks, cormorant,..etc make their nets. By boat, you can see lotus flowers around the canals. Don’t make noise to listen to the sound of Birds. You climb up the Bird’s Tower to take a look of the forest Lanorma. Then, you keep going to Chau Doc town. Check in hotel. Night in Chau Doc.

Day 5: CHAU DOC – HATIEN   ( B, L,  )
After breakfast, you start your trip visiting Chua Xu temple. Vietnamese people consider Chua Xu Lady look like Goddess of Mercy, she plays an important role in our society. Formerly, her statue was founded on the top of the Sam mountain (about 270m high sea levels). The statue its self is possibly a relic of the culture, dating from the 16th century.Back to Chau Doc Town, you take the boat to visit the floating Houses where the fish is raised in the suspended metal Nets. The fish flourish in their natural river habitat. You continue to visit Cham village, Cham means Muslim people. With the traditional loom, Muslims people can weave the tissues and towels. The last visit, you discover the Mubarak Mosque. Leaving for Hatien . Overnight in Ha Tien.

Day 6: HATIEN  ( B, L,  )
Breakfast at hotel. See around Thach Dong cave,Vietnam-Cambodia border,Mui Nai beach
Leaving for Hon Chong. See round a pagoda on grottoes. Contemplate the BEAUTIFUL SUNSET in the country. Overnight in Ha Tien.

Day 7: HATIEN  - CAMAU ( B, L,  )
Breakfast at hotel, then leave for CaMau. Stop in Rach Gia for Lunch.
Arrival in Camau. Check in Hotel and night in Camau.

Day 8: CAMAU ( B, L,  )
Boat trip to visit Ca Mau Cape, the southernmost land of Viet Nam. Take photos. Back to Nam Can small town for lunch and visit to shrimp breeding ponds, mangrove forest. Overnight  in Ca Mau.

Day 9: CA MAU  - BAC LIEU - ( B, L, )
Am: Visit Ca Mau
Pm: Transfer to Bac Lieu , Take city tour to visit Bac Lieu. Night in Bac Lieu.

Day 10: BAC LIEU  - SOC TRANG – CAN THO ( B, L,  )
Depart to Soc Trang . Arrival Soc Trang. Visit Bat Pagoda, Clay Temple, Khmer Museum . Keep going to Can Tho.  and overnight at Can Tho.

Day 11: CAN THO – SAIGON   ( B, L,  )  
Early morning, tour guide meets you at your hotel. You are transferred by boat to visit the Cai Rang floating market (about 50 minutes from your hotel) where you can see the products hung on the bole of the boat. The local people just only sell and buy the tropical fruits with cheap price. Next, you visit factory where people make rice noodles. Say goodbye Can Tho city.  Drive back to sai Gon. Drop you off at your hotel in Sai Gon.

Day 12: SAIGON - MUI NE ( B, L,  )
Am : Free and easy .
Pm : Transfer to MuiNe beach, where you can relax and swim at the nice and convenience with full facilities resort. Night in Muine

Day 13: MUI NE( B, L, )
 
Am : Free and easy . Lunch
3:30PM Visiting Suoi Tien (fairy stream) where the small stream running through the middle of the red sand dunes. It is like a mini version of Red Canyon

4:00PM Visiting the fishing village, observing the daily lives of fishermen, catch is hauled to shore and fishing boats are lining up

5:00PM Visiting Red sand dunes, great opportunity for taking photo as red colour of the sand is great contrast to background scenery and observing the spectacular sunset over the sand dunes

5:45PM Returning back to your hotel
 

Day 14: MUI NE  -SAIGON - DEPARTURE ( B  )
Back to Sai Gon. Then transfer to the airport for departure.
